Quinn Schambow Goes Supernova in Libertyville Win
Libertyville picked up their seventh consecutive win on Thursday thanks in part to Quinn Schambow. Schambow was dynamite, throwing for 232 yards and five touchdowns on only 16 passes. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for four or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
Schambow is probably looking forward to his next game, a home matchup against Lake Forest on Thursday. When Schambow last faced the Scouts back in September of 2023, he threw for 204 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 32 yards and a touchdown.

Stewart Posts Huge Game in 16-7 Defeat
Aaron Stewart continued his hot streak on Thursday by dropping his fourth-straight game (dating back to last season) with at least 113 rushing yards. He rushed for 113 yards and a touchdown, and also picked up 30 receiving yards. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 60 yards.
Stevenson had to have seen this coming; the last time they saw Stewart it was a similar story. Back in September of 2023 (the last time Stewart saw the Patriots), he rushed for 166 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry.

Mundelein was sadly handed a loss on Thursday, but Jake Junia did his best to prevent it. Nobody could stop Junia as he made 14 total tackles (1.0 for loss).
Mundelein is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-4. Junia will try to repeat (or improve) on that dominant effort when he faces off against Waukegan on Friday.

A Season-Best Effort from Maddux Hermestroff Leads Mundelein over Lake Zurich
Sadly, Maddux Hermestroff posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Mundelein over Lake Zurich on Thursday. Hermestroff made nine total tackles.
On the season, Hermestroff has averaged 5.7 total tackles per game and for the season has 3 interceptions. That doesn't tell the whole story though: at this point last year, he was only averaging 14.43 rushing yards per game. This year he is averaging 22.57 rushing yards.

Blaise Lavista and Co. Win Seventh in a Row
Blaise Lavista's big game helped extend Libertyville's winning streak to seven on Thursday. Lavista turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to receiving touchdowns, as he's now hauled in two or more in the last seven games he's played dating back to last season.
Zion-Benton's probably not too fond of Lavista given he always seems to get the better of them. When Lavista last faced the Zee-Bees back in October of 2023, he picked up 167 receiving yards and three touchdowns.
