Mid-Carolina suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They were beaten by Newberry 62-28. Mid-Carolina has struggled against Newberry recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Abbeville waltzed into their game on Tuesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They were the clear victor by a 73-52 margin over Ninety Six. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory Abbeville has posted against Ninety Six since January 15, 2021.
Abbeville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Rollinson led the charge by scoring 16 points along with eight rebounds and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Riley, who scored 21 points along with two steals.
Mid-Carolina has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-10 record this season. As for Abbeville, their victory bumped their record up to 7-2.
