Nadia Cedillo made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits (and only one walk). Cedillo was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs and stealing three bases while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. Cedillo is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: she's snagged at least one every time she's taken the field this season.

Santa Fe Indian is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season. St. Michael's victory bumped their record up to 8-0.
Thursday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Santa Fe Indian hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .354. However, it's not like St. Michael's struggles in that department as they've averaged .406. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Santa Fe Indian beat St. Michael's 15-10 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will Santa Fe Indian repeat their success, or does St. Michael's has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
