Howland is 2-8 against Harding since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Howland Tigers' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Harding Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Harding took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Howland, who comes in off a win.
Even though Howland has not done well against Boardman recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. Howland came out on top against Boardman by a score of 52-42.
Howland's success was spearheaded by the efforts of John Perry, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds, and Alex Henry, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perry has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Chieffo, who scored eight points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Harding pushed their score all the way to 58 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell to Canfield 63-58.

Keep an eye on the arc in Tuesday's game: Howland have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 4.7 threes per game. It's a different story for Harding, though, as they've been averaging only 4.6 threes per game. Given Howland's sizeable advantage in that area, Harding will need to find a way to close that gap.
