Clintondale had lost five straight on the road, but  on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 1-10 to make it six. They lost  16-1 to the New Haven Rockets. That's the most  strikeouts  Gilbert has posted since back in May of 2024. He was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-3 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles. He is also on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as he's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games he's  played.
 In other batting news,  Will Bosco was a standout: he got on base  in three of his four plate appearances with four  RBI, one  stolen base,  and one  run. That's the most  RBI  he has posted since back in April of 2024.  Connor Abuan was another key player,  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances with three  runs and one  RBI.
 Looking ahead, Clintondale will head out to  take on Fitzgerald  at 4:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for New Haven, they will look to defend their home field  on Monday against Roseville  at 4:30  p.m.
