The Pomona Red Devils are taking a road trip to  take on the Edgewood Lions  at 3:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Pomona's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Thursday. They blew past La Puente 31-0. Winning may never get old, but the Red Devils sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
 Noah Zayas made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   pitching one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Zayas was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-4 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  double. That  double was  his first of the season.

 In other pitching news,  Vince Huguez tossed a big game,   not allowing a single  earned run and  allowing only  one  hit over five innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.
 Back at the plate,  Emmanuel Campos was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with two  runs, one  stolen base,  and two  RBI. That's the most  runs  he has posted since back in March of 2024.  Brandon Cruz also deserves some recognition as  he  hit his first  double of the season.
 Pomona was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .419. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as La Puente only posted a  batting average of  .053.
Meanwhile, Edgewood won against Bassett  on Tuesday with 17  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Thursday. The Lions didn't even let the Olympians on the board, marking the Lions' second-straight  17-0 shutout. The  win was nothing new for the Lions as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Evan Davis was a  major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he  kept things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Davis was also solid in the batter's box,  earning one  RBI and two  runs. Edgewood is undefeated when  Davis posts two or  more  runs, but 6-8 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  Aaron Magdaleno was a standout: he got on base  in all four of his plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  RBI,  and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Raymond Tafolla, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Edgewood pushed their record up to 13-8 with the  victory, which was their third straight  on the road. Those  road  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Pomona, their record now sits at 10-6.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp  on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Pomona has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 4.9  stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Edgewood struggles in that department as   they've been averaging 4.3  stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
 Pomona couldn't quite finish off Edgewood in their previous meeting  back in March and fell  5-3. Can the Red Devils avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
