Skylar Endzel and John Beaven made a big impact while hitting and pitching. Throwing, Endzel pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Beaven didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Those seven strikeouts gave him a new career-high. At the plate, Endzel went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run, while Beaven went 3-for-4 with five RBI and two runs.
In other batting news, Colonel Richardson got a massive performance out of Jamie Mensonides, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those three runs gave Mensonides a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Hayden Defenderfer, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
