The El Segundo Eagles will look to defend their home field on Friday against the South Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Both teams come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Last Friday, El Segundo made easy work of West and carried off a 28-7 win. The result was nothing new for El Segundo, who have now won three matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Meanwhile, South's four-game losing streak came to an end on Friday. They didn't even let Lawndale onto the board and left with a 7-0 win. The win was all the more spectacular given South's disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 531st, while Lawndale is ranked 233rd).
