Copper Hills won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune  on Wednesday. They lost  12-6 to the Corner Canyon Chargers. Copper Hills was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Corner Canyon apparently hadn't forgotten their  defeat the last time these teams played  last Tuesday.
 Copper Hills got a good showing from  Kooper Beebe, who   tossed three innings while giving up just one earned  (and three unearned) runs off   three  hits. Beebe has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Brody Beebe was cooking despite his team's loss,   going 2-for-4 with a  home run, two  runs,  and a  stolen base.  Peyton Adams was another key contributor,  scoring two  runs and  stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.
 On Corner Canyon's side,  Nathan Horstmann and  Drew Whatcott did most of the damage at the plate:  Horstmann  went 2-for-5 with two  triples, two  RBI,  and a  run, while  Whatcott  went 2-for-4 with four  RBI, a  triple,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Garrett Downing, who  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances.
 Copper Hills has  been struggling recently as they've  lost six of their last seven matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 12-13 record  this season. As for Corner Canyon, their victory bumped their record up to 14-10.
 As of now, neither Copper Hills nor Corner Canyon have any future games scheduled.
