Basketball Recap: Dylan Heald Key Part of a Team Effort in Student Win

Indian Springs's game last Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 73-54 win over the Oak Grove Tigers. The Student have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Indian Springs to victory, but perhaps none more so than Dylan Heald, who posted 24 points. Heald is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 19 or more in the last seven games he's played. Ben Simms was another key player, putting up 21 points.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Zyontae Hubbard, who had 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Levi Valentine, who posted 13 points.

Indian Springs' victory bumped their record up to 8-6. As for Oak Grove, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.

Indian Springs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-51 loss against Briarwood Christian on the 14th. As for Oak Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-21 defeat against Tuscaloosa Academy on the 13th.
