Basketball Recap: Cave Springs Skates Past Watts with Ease

Cave Springs had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Watts Engineers 46-17. The Hornets have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 29 points or more this season.

Cave Springs' victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-1. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.8 points. As for Watts, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

After both having extra time off, Cave Springs and Bokoshe will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Cave Springs is facing Bokoshe at the right time seeing as Bokoshe is stuck on a ten-game losing streak. As for Watts, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Welch at 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025.
