The Minersville Battlin' Miners scored the most points they've had all season to find success  on Friday. They walked away with  a   65-53  win over Williams Valley. The  victory was familiar territory for Minersville who now have four in a row.
 Minersville's win  was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from   Shazier Bethea, who  scored 22 points along with five  assists and five  rebounds. Bethea hasn't dropped below two  steals for six straight games. Another player making a difference was  Lorenzo Yourey, who  scored 16 points along with two  steals.
 Minersville's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Williams Valley,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 9-11.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Minersville will take on the Hurricanes at 7:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Schuylkill Haven is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road. As for Williams Valley, they and the Red Raiders will face off  at 7:30  p.m.  on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
