Two dominant guards in Terrance Meredith and Eli Sego are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Christel House Eagles will take on the Triton Central Tigers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Christel House's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 11 matchups.
Two weeks ago, Christel House strolled past Indianapolis Arsenal Technical with points to spare, taking the game 86-69.

Matios Russ was his usual excellent self, going 11-for-13 to rack up 25 points along with six assists and six boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in December of 2024. Josiah Jackson was another key player, shooting 50% from the field en route to 19 points.
They weren't the only ones working in the assist department: Christel House was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They are 9-1 when they've passed the ball that well.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Triton Central had no trouble coming through when it counted. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 58-55 victory over Heritage Christian on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.
Christel House better keep an eye on Max Crouse. He was instrumental in Triton Central's win, as he made all 5 shots he took for 18 points and six assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Silas Blair, who scored nine points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.
Christel House's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Triton Central, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 14-9.
Friday's contest is shaping up to be a masterclass in shooting: Christel House just can't miss this season, having drained 48.9% of their field goals per game. However, it's not like Triton Central struggles in that department as they've drained 50% of their shots this season. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Christel House beat Triton Central 59-49 in their previous meeting back in December of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Sego, who went 8-for-11 on his way to 23 points and seven boards. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Christel House still be able to contain Sego? There's only one way to find out.
