Meade has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Bucklin Red Aces at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Meade posted their biggest victory yet this season on Tuesday. They blew past Pawnee Heights 59-18 at home. Given Meade's advantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Pawnee Heights is ranked 304th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Bucklin took their matchup on the road on Saturday with ease, bagging a 71-40 win over Pawnee Heights.
Meade is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season. As for Bucklin, their victory bumped their record up to 7-5.
Everything went Meade's way against Bucklin when the teams last played back in December of 2023 as Meade made off with a 66-42 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Meade since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
