Schalmont moved up to 27 from 59 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Section 2 B - West. The Sabres were able to make move up by topping Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk 48-0.
Schalmont extended the longest winning streak in the league this week by beating the Indians, 48-0. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Schuylerville's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Horses feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Shane Lyon has thrown for 354 yards and five touchdowns this season, while Austin Cook has eight catches for 168 yards. Lyon also leads the league in rushing with 1105 yards.
The top two teams in Section 2 B - West will face off this week when first place Schalmont takes on second place Glens Falls. The Sabres bested Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk last week, while Glens Falls topped Schuylerville.
Schalmont took down Gary VanDerzee's team 48-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
