Gladewater barely beat West Rusk the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Gladewater Bears' pitchers stepped up to hand the West Rusk Raiders a 15-0 shutout on Friday. That 15 run margin sets a new team best for the Bears this season.

Gladewater's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-7-1. As for West Rusk, their loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Gladewater and West Rusk will both be playing Troup the next time they take the field. Gladewater will head out to face Troup at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while West Rusk will host them at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th.
