David Whitley was his usual excellent self, scoring eight points along with 13 rebounds and six assists. Those six assists set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Jaden Hicks, who scored eight points along with nine rebounds and three steals.
Gompers Prep Academy bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 28.3 points per game. As for Rock Academy, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
