The Westbury Huskies's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They lost to Heights at home by a decisive 63-48 margin. Westbury has not had much luck with Heights recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Heights' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Conor Mccarthy, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Kaden Cole was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Westbury's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Heights, their victory bumped their record up to 14-17.
Westbury didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 79-31 defeat vs. Westside on the 7th. Heights has also already played their next matchup, a 75-22 win against Houston Math Science & Tech on the 7th.
