Dyersburg has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Obion County Rebels at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Dyersburg focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine two weeks ago.
Two weeks ago, Dyersburg strolled past Crockett County with points to spare, taking the game 53-38.
Joya Crawford was her usual excellent self, going 6 for 8 from beyond the arc en route to 27 points and 2 assists. Another player making a difference was Chelby Jordan, who scored nine points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, Obion County earned a 45-37 victory over South Gibson on Tuesday.
Dyersburg pushed their record up to 16-2 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Obion County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Dyersburg didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Obion County in their previous matchup on January 9th, but they still walked away with a 46-40 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Dyersburg since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
