Vale won the last time they faced Riverside and things went their way on Friday too. The Vikings blew past the Pirates 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Vale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.4 runs on average over those games. As for Riverside, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-10.
