Bailee West made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit while striking out eight over four innings pitched. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kenzie Anderson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Keylie Byrd was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
