The American History Bald Eagles were the 63-37 winner over the Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars when they last played one another back in December of 2019, but their luck changed this time around. American History fell to Montclair Kimberley Academy 78-72. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game last Thursday (61), American History still had to take the loss.
American History lost on Saturday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ahmad Woodard, who scored 20 points along with seven steals and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Ah'Zeah Woodard, who scored 18 points along with five steals.
This is the second loss in a row for American History and nudges their season record down to 7-4. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. American History will square off against Glen Ridge at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Montclair Kimberley Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Weequahic at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
