After flying high against El Primero  last Friday, Latino College Preparatory Academy came back down to earth. The Golden Eagles took  a  17-12 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Summit Shasta Black Bears on Friday. The Golden Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Black Bears earlier this season, when they won  22-17.
 Latino College Preparatory Academy got a  massive  performance out of  ANDREA SANCHEZ, who  went 3-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  stolen base.  YARED BANUELOS was another key player,  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  RBI.
Latino College Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Summit Shasta, their victory bumped their record up to 6-4.
As of now, neither Latino College Preparatory Academy nor the Black Bears have any future games scheduled.
