While Elk City's win against Bridge Creek wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Elks narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Bobcats 8-6. Eight seems to be a good number for the Elks as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

The victory made it two in a row for Elk City and bumps their season record up to 17-15. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Bridge Creek, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-20.

Elk City wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Elgin on the 29th. Bridge Creek does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
