The Lucas Christian Academy Warriors had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past Covenant Classical 68-48. Considering Lucas Christian Academy has won seven games by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Lucas Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Rylee Holman led the charge by throwing for 427 yards and seven touchdowns. Rylan Goss was another key contributor, picking up 176 receiving yards and four touchdowns.
The win (which was Lucas Christian Academy's fifth in a row) raised their record to 10-2. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.4 points per game. As for Covenant Classical, their loss dropped their record down to 10-2.
