In what's become a running theme this season, the Stratford Spartans gave their fans yet another huge win on Friday. They took their contest on the road with ease, bagging a 51-10 win over KIPP Nashville Collegiate. The victory was just what Stratford needed coming off of a 63-36 defeat in their prior matchup.
It was another big night for Leonna Summers, who scored 24 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Hannah Johnson, who scored ten points.
Stratford's victory bumped their record up to 10-8. As for KIPP Nashville Collegiate, their loss was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-8.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing East Nashville Magnet the next time they take the court. KIPP Nashville Collegiate will head out to face East Nashville Magnet at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Stratford will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
