After losing to the Faith Christian Lions the last time they met, the Buckingham Charter Knights decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Buckingham Charter took down Faith Christian 46-27 on Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Buckingham Charter.
When it comes to explaining why Faith Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Max Bryan. Despite the final result, he scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. Chad Oakley was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
The victory got Buckingham Charter back to even at 9-9. As for Faith Christian, they have not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-14 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Buckingham Charter has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Western Sierra Collegiate Academy at 7:30 p.m. on February 3rd. As for Faith Christian, they will be playing at home against Cristo Rey at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Faith Christian is facing Cristo Rey at the right time seeing as Cristo Rey is stuck on a 14-game losing streak.
