The Hayesville Yellowjackets are taking a road trip to square off against the Christ School Greenies at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hayesville will be looking to extend their current six-game winning streak.

He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits. In other batting news, Cade Caruso was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs he has posted since back in May of 2024. Michael Mauney was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-5.
Hayesville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Christ School can bid farewell to their eight-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Greenville H as Christ School made off with a 14-1 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Greenies considering their two-run performance the game before.
Hayesville's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Christ School, the victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-8.
