Sullivan East lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Corbin Laisure , who scored 22 points along with eight rebounds. Laisure has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Cross, who scored 18 points.
Sullivan East's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 5-5. As for Daniel Boone, their win bumped their record up to 3-4.
Sullivan East will be home for the holidays to greet Gate City at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Daniel Boone, they will head out on the road to face off against Volunteer at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Volunteer is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
