The Robinson Knights's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight defeat. They fell to Hillsborough 76-70. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Robinson in their matchups with the Terriers: they've now lost seven in a row.
Robinson lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being LaJesse Harrold, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Harrold has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Behel, who scored 16 points.
Robinson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-12 record this season. As for Hillsborough, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-13.
Robinson will square off against the Falcons at TBD on Tuesday. Dunedin is no doubt hoping to put an end to an eight-game streak of away losses. As for Hillsborough, they will head out on the road to square off against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Countryside knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past five matches -- so hopefully the Terriers like a good challenge.
