They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Christian Home Educators 72-43 on the road. The victory was some much needed relief for East Texas Homeschool Sports as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
East Texas Homeschool Sports got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Will Mason out in front who scored 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Mason has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last eight times he's played. Issac Hill was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with five rebounds.
Christian Home Educators' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Oglesby, who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Koster, who scored ten points.
East Texas Homeschool Sports' win bumped their record up to 17-8. As for Christian Home Educators, their defeat dropped their record down to 16-15.
East Texas Homeschool Sports will look to defend their home court on Monday against Christian Heritage at 6:00 p.m. As for Christian Home Educators, they will take on Johnson County Sports Association at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday. Christian Home Educators is coming into the contest with three straight defeats on the road, meaning Johnson County Sports Association will have to defend against a squad hungry for a win.
