Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family got a solid performance out of senior Dylan Hanzel, who picked up 121 yards on the ground and threw 2 TDs; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the win. In fact, with ten tackles Hanzel was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Walthill put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season last Friday. They took the matchup and then some with a 75-0 victory over Santee. With Walthill ahead 54-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Walthill's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family's defeat dropped them down to 2-2. In their victory, Walthill relied heavily on freshman Nate Morris, who rushed for 130 yards and 2 touchdowns. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
