The Northeast Raiders's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Saturday after their third straight loss. They were the victim of a rough 65-39 defeat at the hands of Eagle's Landing Christian Academy.
Northeast's loss came despite strong showings from Jatavion Zellner and Brandon Hill. Zellner scored 17 points along with 5 rebounds, while Hill scored 10 points along with 4 steals. The game was Zellner's third in a row with at least ten points.
Northeast's loss was their third straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-3. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northeast is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Westside at 7:30 p.m. on December 6th. As for Eagle's Landing Christian Academy, they will face off against McNair at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully McNair focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Monday.
