Basketball Recap: Dubois Piles Up the Points Against Central Mountain

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DuBois). They blew past the Central Mountain Wildcats 69-36 on Monday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Beavers have posted since January 22nd.

Despite the loss, Central Mountain still got an impressive performance from Hunter Hoy, who went 10 of 21 en route to 24 points and seven steals. Hoy is crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

DuBois moved to 4-4 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Central Mountain, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

DuBois and Brockway will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central Mountain, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Neumann Regional Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
