The Trinity Christian Lions had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They strolled past Grace Prep with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 41-22. The win was just what Trinity Christian needed coming off of a 49-7 loss in their prior matchup.
Grace Prep's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaden Lehew, who rushed for 133 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 67 yards and a touchdown. Another player making a difference was Bryce Prince, who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown.
Trinity Christian's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-2. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.3 points per game. As for Grace Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-7.
Trinity Christian will take on Dallas Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Dallas Christian has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 555 points over their last ten games. Grace Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
