It was a good run, but Holy Name unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 9-2 to the Padua Franciscan Bruins. The Green Wave were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Bruins earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Holy Name saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Garrett Niemiec, who went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.

Holy Name's defeat dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Padua Franciscan, they have been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season.

Holy Name will be playing in front of their home fans against Chardon at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Padua Franciscan, they are taking a road trip to challenge Olmsted Falls at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
