The Parkview Patriots put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 42-14 win over Camden Fairview. The result was nothing new for Parkview, who have now won ten matches by 28 points or more so far this season.
Parkview's victory was their eighth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 11-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 0-10 De Queen and 1-9 Hope (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 39% over those games). As for Camden Fairview, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-4.
Parkview will face off against Alma at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Alma will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings (they are ranked 36th, while Parkview is ranked first). As for Camden Fairview, they will head out on the road to face off against Farmington at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Farmington has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 298 points over their last seven matchups.
