There's no place like home for the McClymonds Warriors, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Wednesday. They had just enough and edged Fremont out 51-48. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory McClymonds has posted since November 29, 2023.
Among those leading the charge was King Stewart, who scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Brandon Davis, who scored eight points.
McClymonds pushed their record up to 15-2 with that victory, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Fremont, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.
McClymonds won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Pleasant Valley at 12:00 p.m. on January 13th. Pleasant Valley is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 55.2 points per game. As for Fremont, they will face off against Piedmont at 5:20 p.m. on Monday.
