The East Coweta Indians scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against Campbell by a score of 80-72. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
East Coweta's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Qwes Williams led the charge by dropping a double-double on 19 points and 14 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Carby Martin, who scored 21 points along with eight rebounds and two steals.
East Coweta is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season. As for Campbell, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
East Coweta will head out on the road to take on Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
