Hilton Head Christian Academy extended the longest winning streak in SCISA AA Region II this week by beating Palmetto Christian Academy, 41-18. The victory was the eighth in a row for the Eagles.
Will Lloyd threw for 323 yards and two touchdowns. He went 26-49 with two interceptions.
Graham Blunt made the biggest impact on defense this week as Palmetto Christian Academy fell to Hilton Head Christian Academy. The senior recorded one fumble.
Teron Daley was the most productive running back in the league this week. In 12 carries, he ran for 179 yards as Hilton Head Prep fell to Tommy Lewis' team. Teammate Charlie Wilmot added to the ground attack by rushing for four yards.
Hirshman was the best wideout in the league this week as Palmetto Christian Academy lost to the Eagles. Hirshman racked up seven receptions for 194 yards. Chase Shimakonis helped Palmetto Christian Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 23 yards.
On the ground, Palmetto Christian Academy's jT Waters has rushed for 1433 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Logan Clark. The Hilton Head Prep star has 32 catches for 708 yards.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Palmetto Christian Academy takes on Heyward Academy. Palmetto Christian Academy's offense has recorded 380 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while the Rebels have permitted only 121 on the year.
Palmetto Christian Academy's Ryan Roe is a mere 78 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. Roe has rushed for 922 yards on 125 carries so far this year.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Palmetto Christian Academy takes on Nic Shuford's team. As it stands, Palmetto Christian Academy is in third, while the Rebels are in first.
Heyward Academy led the league in scoring this week after putting up 42 points on Northwood Academy.
