With a playoff win on the line, Brodhead rose to the challenge  on Thursday. They were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Brookfield Academy Blue Knights. The  win was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on five straight.
 Karli Krumwiede had an outrageously good game as she  had 11  digs and five  aces. That's the most  digs  she has posted  over her last ten  matchups.
 Krumwiede wasn't the only good servers: Brodhead  was lethal from the service line and  finished the match with 17  aces. That's the most  aces they've managed all season.
Brodhead's victory bumped their record up to 28-9. As for Brookfield Academy,  they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 15-11.
 Brodhead wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next  match,  a  3-2  loss against Lake Country Lutheran on the 25th. Brookfield Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
