Powell won the last time it faced Cumberland County, and things went their way on Friday, too. Powell steamrollered Cumberland County 42-0. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-0.
The win bumped Powell's record up to 2-0. The loss dropped Cumberland County's record to 0-2.
Next week, Powell take on Fulton at 7:30 PM. As for Cumberland County, they will face of against Livingston Academy. Neither Cumberland County nor Livingston Academy could muster much offensive firepower in their last games, so look to the defense to decide this one.
