Pineville is 8-2 against Ouachita Parish since March of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Rebels will challenge the Lions at 5:30 p.m. Pineville's pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so Ouachita Parish's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
On Monday, Pineville beat West Ouachita 4-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Chelsie Simpson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, Pineville let Analiese Holmes and Jadin Basco run wild. Holmes went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double, while Basco went 2-for-3 with one home run, one triple, and two RBI. That's the most hits Holmes has posted over her last 13 matchups.
Meanwhile, Ouachita Parish won against West Monroe on Saturday with four runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Lions beat Ouachita Christian by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3. The Lions haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.
Taylor Madison made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. Madison was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI.
Madison wasn't the only one making solid contact as two players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Journee Williams, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles.
Pineville's record is now 19-7. As for Ouachita Parish, their record now sits at 14-8.
Pineville couldn't quite finish off Ouachita Parish in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 and fell 9-7. Can the Rebels avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
