Northwood took a serious blow against the Screamin' Eagles, falling 83-48. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Northwood in their matchups with the Screamin' Eagles: they've now lost three in a row.
Seneca Valley was led to victory by Isaac Olanrewaju and Jaysen Moise. Olanrewaju scored 14 points along with four steals, while Moise scored 20 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Olanrewaju has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Korey Trone, who scored six points along with six assists and five rebounds.
Northwood has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Seneca Valley, their win bumped their record up to an identical 5-11.
Northwood and the Titans will face off on February 2nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Maryland (Einstein is ranked 220th, while the Gladiators are ranked 206th). As for Seneca Valley, they will head out on the road to square off against the Jaguars at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
