American Christian School lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Caleb Ritchwood, who scored 16 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah Kenyi, who scored 13 points.
Veritas Christian Academy was led to victory by Evan Milanesi and Nicholas Jetton. Milanesi scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and five assists, while Jetton scored 30 points along with six rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Jetton has scored all season. Another player making a difference was David Baker, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
American Christian School's loss ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-4. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
American Christian School will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Kearny Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. American Christian School is coming into the match with eight straight defeats at home, meaning Kearny Christian Academy will have to defend against a team hungry for a win. As for Veritas Christian Academy, they will take on Somerset Bible Baptist Christian Academy at 5:55 p.m. on Thursday. Veritas Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 57.3 points per game this season.
