After a string of four wins, the Black Hills Wolves's good fortune finally ran out  on Monday. They lost to Columbia River on the road  by a decisive  47-33 margin. Black Hills was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Columbia River apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  back in February of 2020.
 Black Hills' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Natalie Buchanan, who  scored five points along with two  steals. Buchanan hasn't dropped below two  steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of  Tyler Venable, who  scored 11 points.
 Black Hills' loss dropped their record down to 18-4. As for Columbia River, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 11 of their last 12 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record  this season.
 Black Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match, a  47-37  defeat vs. Mark Morris on the 14th. Columbia River does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
