Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lone Peak to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kennedy Woolston, who posted ten points in addition to eight assists and five steals. Woolston is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in each of the last seven games she's played. Maddie Pope was another key player, going 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points and five boards.
Woolston wasn't the only one working in the assist department: Lone Peak was working as a unit and finished the game with 12 assists. Lone Peak is 17-4 when they've passed the ball that well.
Despite the loss, Davis still got an impressive performance from T'Maea Eteuati, who went 6-for-13 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Willard, who earned 12 points.
Lone Peak's record is now 19-7. As for Davis, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 17-7 record.
Coming up, Lone Peak and Copper Hills will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday without much rest, having both just played. Lone Peak has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. Davis does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
