Miner hasn't dropped below 16 points for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Carter, who scored 18 points along with six rebounds.
Reading's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brayden Wright, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine rebounds. Another player making a difference was Brady Kling, who scored 12 points.
Quincy's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-8. As for Reading, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12 record this season.
Quincy will square off against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Reading, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
