Pikesville's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Courtney Jenifer, who scored eight points. Another player making a difference was Maya Chase, who scored eight points.
Pikesville's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Ursuline Academy, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-1.
Pikesville will be playing in front of their home fans against Perry Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Maryland (Perry Hall is ranked 40th, while Pikesville is ranked 21st). As for Ursuline Academy, they will square off against Archbishop Carroll at 9:00 a.m. on January 7, 2024.
