Ayden Devine turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Friday. He struck out seven batters over 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Kerr-Vance Academy is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 0-3 otherwise.

Coming up, Devine and Kerr-Vance Academy will challenge Faith Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
